This is a good working version of the M.A.M.E. emulator. This upgrade allows you to load and play more than 3000 different games, accepts zipped rom files, and it adds a number of other features which might be of interest to you.
Once loaded, unzip this file and place it in a directory of your choice, add to this directory directx5.0 or higher, and then follow the instructions in the readme32.txt file.
If you do not yet have one of the directx files, get the latest version from microsoft.com. For additional instructions, see basic instructions on this page.

When on site, click on 'kgen98', then save the 'kgen9804' zip file.
This emulator allows you to load and play sega genesis games on your computer
Once loaded, unzip and follow the instructions in the readme.txt file or see basic instructions on this page.

winvice-1.15.zip
Download the winvice-1.15.zip emulator from the viceteam home page. This emulator allows you to load and play commodore 64 games on your computer
When on site, click on 'emulators', then 'winvice-1.15.zip'.
Once loaded, unzip and follow the instruction in the winvice-1.15.zip text file or see Basic Instructions



retroall.zip
This interesting emulator allows you to load and play a good number of the old classic video games on your pc.
Once on this site, press 'retrocade 1.2b2' under the 'latest downloads', download the 'retroall.zip' file there, unzip it, and place all its files in a directory of your choice.
Once the files are there, follow the instructions in the readme.txt file or see Basic Instructions.

All of these emulators support a cadre of excellent games that you would like to play again on your present computer.
A good video card with 64 megs of memory and a good sound card will help.
